The Nils were founded in 1978 by a then 13-year old Alex Soria and his older brother Carlos Soria. The Nils never achieved widespread fame despite critical success and a following amongst other musicians in the genre. "... but what surprises me most is how many people I run into, or hear from, who say they love the Nils or were directly influenced by them. The Goo Goo Dolls,Superchunk, Jawbox, Meat Puppets, Down By Law, Bob Mould and many of the power-pop punk bands (too many to name), all rave about the Nils."

Now jump forward to 2013. After a long hiatus from music due to many trials and tribulations Carlos is back playing again and better than ever. Having reformed the Nils, Carlos has also branched out on his own to tell stories that need to be told. The acoustic set give a new life to the old Nils classics. For old fans reliving a memory or new fans hearing these songs for the first time Carlos is sure to please.
